Kathy Grannan, MSN, RN, CNL
Kathy Grannan was born and raised in Buffalo, New York (hence her love for snow). She completed her Bachelors in Nursing at THE Ohio State University and immediately fell in love with oncology nursing, beginning at Riverside in 1976. She has remained in direct patient care most of the 40 years of her career, working in Oncology, Neurology, Coronary Care, Gerontology, Quality & Safety and Emergency Medicine. She completed my Masters in Nursing at Otterbein University and became a Certified Clinical Nurse Leader in 2012. She is now back full circle to her favorite patients, serving those battling cancer and the loved ones that care for them. During her tenure at OhioHealth she has served on a variety of committees including the Colorectal Cancer Advisory Group, Ethics committees and Magnet.She is currently the Chair-elect for the Magnet Champion Committee and the facilitator for the Colorectal Cancer Support Group.
In her spare time, she is a member of the National Ski Patrol, a board member for the Village in the Ville independent eldercare association, and several watercolor guilds.She lives in Clintonville with her husband Tim and dog Rusty. She has two grown children.
